Wafty Saddle Ziggurat

Wafty is one of 12 designs in the Jubilæum Collection, celebrating 10 years of Ziggurating and design. It is the Ziggurat half of Chapter 2

Wafty is an ethereal little thing with a fluttery collar, saddle shoulders, and a pretty puff sleeve. With some bold stripes added for… stripes are always a good thing. And perhaps to counter some of the surprising girliness of this garment.

There is some faint waist shaping and a little gather at center-back for a fit that is relaxed, breezy, easy.

Yes, it is knitted with lace-weight yarn, but –  knitted on larger needles, the mohair silk creates a fabric that is light as a cloud, wafty.

It is also a new Ziggurat construction – a Saddle Ziggurat.
